Open Mike airs during football season and features
Franklin Free Press sports editor Mike Self and a variety
of guests discussing the Northwest Alabama sports scene,
along with weekly updates on the Alabama Crimson Tide and
the Auburn Tigers. Mike is a veteran of the area sports
scene and offers unique insight on high school and
collegiate sports.
The Football Friday Tailgate Show will premiere Friday, August 24.
The show will air from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., each Friday afternoon this fall on
WGOL. Host Mike Self will join John Pilati, Bill Moss, Adam McCluskey and others
for weekly predictions and features. We’ll have expert analysis on Auburn and Alabama,
